BJP holds ‘Booth Sammelan’ in Pahalgam Constituency | KNO

Pahalgam, Jan 4 (KNO) : Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) state general secretary (Org) Ashok Kaul held “Booth Sammelan” in Pahalgam Constituency of Anantnag district, on Thursday. The party organized the program at Town Hall, Pahalgam which was attended by booth incharges along with their teams of the Pahalgam Constituency. Kaul was the chief guest on the occasion, while as the function was organized by party MLC Sofi Yousuf. Addressing the Sammelan, Ashok Koul said that holding the Sammelan of grass root level party workers shows the importance of booth level workers in view of the forthcoming Panchayat election in the State and prompted every worker to work extensively on every single booth and contribute more time for Panchayat elections. “To meet the challenge every worker must know his area intimately, must have personal rapport with every voter. Every worker must keep himself abreast of the working and procedures of enrolment of voters, which is the most important for getting success” he said. While speaking on the occasion Sofi Yousuf highlighted the achievements of Narendra Modi led NDA Government at the Centre and BJP coalition in J&K. He asked the party workers to educate people about the schemes initiated by Centre and State Governments for the welfare of poor and downtrodden section of society so that maximum deserving people get benefited. On the occasion, Kaul also inaugrated the reapir, renouation and maintance works done on Shiv Temple Anantnag, for which MLC Sofi Yousuf had contributed Rs 20 lacs from his constituency development fund (CDF). Present on the occasion were- state president Minority Morcha- Mohammad Sadiq Khan; District President- Rafiq Wani; Protocal Incharge Arif Raja; Organisational Secretary south Kashmir- Veer Saraf; Vistarak Incharge- Malik Mushtaq Noorabadi; district vice- president Lateef Ahmad Khan; constituency President- Mohammad Yousuf Akad; district media secretary Pinka Malik and others.(KNO)
